Learn, Build, Launch ✨
☕ Good Morning!
For people with little or no technical knowledge, NoCode can also be daunting when you start out. HelloGuru has written a great post on where beginners can being their journey. Many of you will be familar with 100 days of NoCode, which will shortly be celebrating its #100th day. This is a great place to begin, challenging you to learn 30 minutes of NoCode every day and interact with the community. That means reading, watching videos, and checking the progress made by others. With that you can get building. You then need to decide whether you want to create web apps or websites. Two great NoCode tools to kick off with are Webflow and Bubble. Webflow is a little easier to learn and can integrate with tools such as Airtable, Zapier and Memberstack. Bubble allows for more functionality, but the learning curve is steeper. If they seem too much for you, you can also kick off with Carrd. If you want to go deeper, Hello Guru’s No-Code University offers a number of courses where you can learn to build software with a NoCode approach. Learn more.

Morning Brew Twitter Strategy
Great share by Toby on the top 10 learnings he’s made from running Morning Brew’s Twitter strategy over the past 2 months. These include:
Hijack a super-powered timeline,
Use a strong "voice" in the comments section,
Invest in tools for memes,
Borrow from others and caption it with relevant text,
Interact with power followers,
Build a community, and
Be genuine.

Basic NoCoder Funnel
Jens has provided us with a basic customer funnel for NoCode startups. It starts at the top with social media, Youtube or podcast, followed by your mailing list and concluded by a product page, free demo or consultations. Most of these things can be automated. Learn more on how it’s done.
Tweet Your Voice
Twitter has introduced a new feature for iOS users: A Tweet with audio. This will allow users to share thoughts in audio-form inside their feeds. The process is easy: When you create a new tweet, there’s a new button alongside the video/photo option that will help you record a quick audio message. Users will be able to broadcast audio of up to 140 seconds long. Anything that goes over this limit will automatically create a thread. Learn more.

🖥️ NoCode & Automate
NoCode Launch Mania
Michael Gill is on 🔥 Yesterday was not only the #100 issue of his No-Code Coffee Newsletter (congrats), but he also found the time to launch 2 new products.
The first is STACK$, a stock market database with over 600 stock symbols with market and technical data. The site was inspired by Chris Johnson's Stock Market Gems course on Gumroad. NoCode Tech used for this build included the Landen website builder and Airtable. Visit the site to learn more.
On top of this, he also launched Integreat, a searchable database of every app you can integrate without code. It includes over 21,000 integration functions for Zapier, Integromat and Parabola. It also includes a giant collection of the over 3,000 apps that allow you to integrate using a NoCode automation platform. The NoCode stack used for this build includes Airtable, Integromat and Landen. Visit the site to learn more.
💰 Funding
Bootstrap Funds
He’s back with another great Trend report. This time Dru Riley reviews Bootstrap Funds. It follows on well from my newsletter yesterday where we discussed the indie.vc approach to venture capital. The problem is that many startups struggle to find smart and aligned advisors. VCs expect a lot of control as well as billion-dollar exits. Bootstrap funds such as Earnest Capital offer an option to non-unicorns. It’s also a lower risk as these startups are already generating revenue. The report provides an overview of active funds, advisors as well as current portfolio companies. Dru believes that funds will also invest in newsletters, podcasts, communities and courses. Get more insights and learn about the predictions and opportunities for this market by reading the Trend Report here. More in-depth info is available in the Pro Report.
💭 Afterthought
To finish the day, an insightful Twitter thread by yourproductguy, with commentary on Bill Gurley’s well-known commencement speech at McCombs MBA school in Austin, Texas. My favourites include the following:
Everyone has the will to win, people just don’t have the will to practice So pick a profession with which you have a deep personal interest!
Develop mentors in your field and obsessively learn from them.
Embrace peers in your field, as it will pay you back manifold.
Twitter is amazing for networking, use it!
You can also review James Clears notes on the speech or watch the video below. Take care of each other and see you tomorrow!
If you enjoy my newsletter, please spread the word to other interested people and help grow SpringUp Stories. You can also find me on Twitter if you’d like to follow my thoughts in real-time!
