Become an Owner đ
â Good Morning!
Ryan Kulp was a freelance marketer who knew nothing about technology. So he decided to teach himself to code. A few months later he became his own technical co-founder and started Fomo. Later, he went on to found Fork Equity, an investor in bootstrapped businesses. He has now launched Founder/Hacker, an online coding course with which he wants to teach you to become an owner. Why? Because as current times show us, job security is becoming increasingly uncertain. And if you look at the basics, financial independence is about food, a roof over your head and being able to do and say what you want. Itâs not about having âF-U money!â How do you get there? By learning new skills which let you build and own your product/service. And what should you learn? As we know, computers are essential to everyday life. So you need to ask yourself whether you will be someone who tells computers what to do or is told what to do by computers. Ergo, itâs time to learn to code (or NoCode). Learn more.

Jason Fried from Basecamp yesterday announced the highly anticipated launch of Hey. Itâs a new email app which he describes as a âredo, a rethink, a simplified, potent reintroduction of email.â The key difference to other email apps is that instead of having to dig for information, it surfaces it for you. It contains a range of functions including the pre-screening of new email contacts, the Im(portant)box, The Feed (newsletters), and the Paper Trail (receipts). You can also merge email threads as well as add notes and stickies to them. Currently, you can only use it with a hey.com email, although custom domains will be available later. The public launch will be in July and it costs $99 per year. Watch the video here.
